
Energy Balls
For Your Little Ball of Energy
These little treats are the simplest way to keep them healthy, energized, and coming back for more! Learn the basic recipe and then swap out your favorite ingredients to make each batch completely unique. They will love you for it!
Ingredients:
- 1 1/4 cup rolled oats
- 2 tbsp power mix-ins (chia, flax or hemp seeds)
- 1/2 cup nut butter (peanut, almond, cashew…your choice!)
- 1/3 cup sweetener (honey or maple syrup work best)
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup mix-ins (chocolate or carob chips, dried fruit, or coconut)
Mix all ingredients in a bowl. You want it thick enough to roll in a ball but moist enough that they won’t fall apart. Add oats or nut butter respectively to find the right consistency.
Put the mixture in fridge for 30 minutes. Once cooled, roll into balls the size you choose.
Serve and soak up the “ooh”s and “aaah”s!!!
